Hi Jane,
How are you? Now that I have settled into my new school, I have some time to tell you about what has been happening here. It’s been quite an experience.
Although I miss you all, I’m really enjoying being in a new town as it has some fantastic facilities. And my new school is very impressive. It differs so much from the old school. For example, the sports facilities are out of this world. There’s an Olympic-sized pool and a state-of-the-art gymnasium. However, the thing I like most are the music and art rooms. They have a wonderful range of equipment and the teachers are both knowledgeable and creativity. It is so much fun learning with them.
Fortunately, I have made some really nice friends. One in particular, Mary, has been so helpful and sympathetic towards me as she understands how difficult it is to move to a new school. Her father is a pilot so she has moved a lot in her life. She loves music too so we are like two peas in a pod!
That’s all for now. Please write soon and let me know how everyone is getting on.
Missing you,
Clare
